Internet Video Update: First "Webisode" of Quarterlife Will Air on MySpaceTV
'This is the most exciting project I've worked on in a very long time, and part of that is the level of creative autonomy we can have on the Internet. For better or worse, 'Quarterlife' is truly our own vision,' said Herskovitz. 'The business of television today makes it harder for the individual filmmaker's voice to be heard,' added Zwick. 'That voice has been our calling card for over twenty years, and working with MySpace gives us a chance to speak it.'

Wow, it used to be no black people in space, now it seems there are no black people in cyberspace. This show is supposed to represent the reality of young people's lives today - what an odd clip to use to advertise the show at quarterlife.com (a glimpse of a dark face doesn't count). If only quarterlife were a full life ;-)

The most amazing aspect of MySpace is the fact that it can seemingly continue to thrive despite the fact that no real people have used it in over a year. They've somehow managed to convince the out-of-date TV media that they're still relevant.
