Cynergy Systems has announced its participation in and commitment to an early adopter program for Silverlight partners. Microsoft Silverlight is built on the Windows Presentation Foundation technology known as XAML (eXtensible Application Markup Language). It enables applications to run across browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and operating systems (Windows and Macintosh). Silverlight utilizes Web standards for programmability, such as JavaScript, CSS, and XML and the .NET Common Language Runtime.
Cynergy vice president Dave Wolf commented, “Consistent with our expanding leadership position in the RIA space, we first launched our Silverlight practice at the Microsoft MIX’07 conference in April. Since then, we’ve seen strong adoption of Silverlight-powered RIAs developed by Cynergy in verticals from online entertainment, to peer-to-peer collaboration to semantic Web. Interest in the market-at-large and among our customers and prospects continues to escalate and Cynergy is well poised to fulfill requests for designing, developing and delivering Silverlight RIAs.”
“Cynergy has earned a reputation as a leader in the RIA development space and was one of the first such firms to endorse Silverlight. We’re excited to have support from Cynergy, especially since their practice includes the entire development continuum, from design through deployment,” said Brian Goldfarb, group product manager in the UX Platform and Tools team at Microsoft.
