The award website features interactive Flash videos of game trailers and actual gameplay footage. The expressive interface provides a fun environment for game fans to learn about and vote for their favorite games in a variety of categories.
“Spike TV’s high quality, interactive video website required the Flash expertise of VitalStream’s professional services team to complete the implementation.” said Jack Waterman, CEO at VitalStream, “We are thrilled to be chosen for the second year in a row to help ensure a successful execution and to stream the expansive video collection they offer to their website visitors.”
The two-hour “Video Game Awards 2005” extravaganza premieres on Spike TV on Saturday, December 10 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). Hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, the third annual awards show also features appearances by Charlize Theron, The Rock, Vin Diesel, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and musical performances by 50 Cent, Def Leppard and Missy Elliott.
